According to The US Bureau of Labor Statistics, November 2020, the average amount of time it takes to find a job is 24 weeks or 6 months. 

Many job seekers have shortened the job searching gap with help of a career coach. I have helped career professionals take a little as 2 weeks, but on average, 4 weeks, (which is less than average) to find their ideal jobs.

The early phase of the job search experience is usually the easiest phase filled with high energy and optimism.

6. 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝟐𝟎-𝟑𝟎 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐄𝐒 that you would like to work for and reach out to influential people in those companies who can give you insights into job opportunities they have

8. 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐒: Set up evergreen leads. Set up alerts on your favourite job searching sites. It does not take a lot of effort to get jobs sent to your inbox. LinkedIn is not the only job searching site, there are others, such as, Indeed, Monster and Glassdoor.
9. 𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓 𝐉𝐎𝐁𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐘 (customize your prospecting resume): Find the job poster or someone in the company that has the vacant position, reach out to them on LinkedIn and express interest in the role that you are applying for
